Abstract

Nutrition is food and drink that contains elements that are very needed related to health, the problem of child nutrition in general is the impact of the imbalance between intake and output of nutrients (nutritional imbalance), namely care that exceeds the output or vice versa, in addition mistakes in choosing food ingredients to eat. The purpose of the study was to find out the description of maternal knowledge about the nutritional status of children in the Pitu Health Center, Tobelo Subdistrict, North Halmahera District. type of descriptive research, where descriptive method is a method that serves to describe or give an overview of the object under study through data or samples that have gathered as it is, without analyzing and making generally accepted conclusions with a sample size of 30 respondents. description of mother knowledge. Both 28 respondents (93.33%), enough 2 respondents (6.67%), less 0 respondents (0%) and good nutritional status 28 respondents with presentations 93.33%, adequate nutritional status 2 respondents with a percentage of 6.67 % and less nutritional status 0 respondents with a percentage of 0%.
