Abstract

Gout Arthritis is a disease caused by a pile of urate crystals in tissues, especially in joint tissue. Compounds Myristic Acid, Palmitic Acid role in reducing uric acid levels in people with gout arthritis. The type of research used is quantitative research with Quasi Experimental Design Design With Pre - Post Test Control Group design to analyze the influence of Laor Consumption (Polychaeta) on Decreasing Uric Acid Level In Patients Gout Arthritis In Wko Village. Population in this research is gout arthritis patient. The sample used was 10 people taken with non probability sampling technique. Data were collected using questionnaires through direct interviews with respondents and examination of uric acid levels. After being tabulated, the data were analyzed using T-Test with significance level α = <0,05. The result of the experiment in the experimental group obtained T value of 5,655 (bigger than T table value 2,776) with sig. (2-tailed) or p value (p = 0,010) <0,05 and control group value T count 1.490 ( 0.05. Based on the results of the research, it has been shown that there is influence of Laor consumption on the decrease of uric acid level in the experimental group if the calculation statistic (t arithmetic)> statistic Table (t table), α = <0,05 then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. Key words: Laor, Gout arthritis.
